The Language Course

Course Overview

This course focuses on developing English language oral communication skills for students aged 10-17, welcoming an international mix of learners from diverse backgrounds, cultural refernces and abilities. Designed to accommodate students from beginner (A1) to advanced (C1) levels, the course provides a supportive environment where students can improve their abilities in various aspects of real world speaking and listening through interactive activities. Lessons are tailored to suit mixed ability groups, allowing each student to progress at their own pace through discussions, role-plays, presentations,and projects.The new Syllabus was reimagined and designed with the topics of our previous Active8 books in mind and linked to the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), encouraging awareness and reflection on global issues, while also reflecting British values and culture.

By the end of the course, students will have improved their communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills and be able to engage with global topics.
