Services being provided to a prospective undergraduate student 

PHASE 1

Phase 1 includes:

• Independent advice to help a student make the right choice of course and university
• Research into 5 suitable course options that meet student’s needs and expected educational attainment.

Phase 1 steps:

• Student completes enquiry form
• Our consultant arranges a Skype call with the student
• PLUS undertakes research into 5 suitable courses and universities based on the information identified above
• Second Skype call to present research to a student and provide an opportunity to progress to Phase 2

Price: £500.00

PHASE 2

Phase 2 includes:

Advice to ensure your UCAS form is completed and submitted correctly

Advice on writing an accompanying personal statement

Advice on other areas such as obtaining a suitable school reference and completing IELTS test

Advice on what course to select as your first and insured choice.

Phase 2 steps:

Student registers with UCAS through PLUS which is a registered UCAS centre.

PLUS provides guidance on completing the UCAS form, obtaining school reference and undertaking additional tests like IELTS etc.

PLUS provides guidance on writing a personal statement. Student writes a draft version. PLUS reviews it and provides feedback.

Student completes administrative side of UCAS form including uploading the finalised personal statement.

Skype call(s) are scheduled with the student as necessary to ensure the form is completed correctly.

Student submits UCAS form.

Phase 2 Steps:

• Student registers with individual universities and completes administrative side of each application form.
• PLUS provides advice on completing each form (via Skype calls), obtaining a reference and undertaking additional tests like IELTS etc.
• PLUS reviews a student’s CV and provides one round of feedback.
• PLUS provides guidance on writing a personal statement. Student writes a draft version. PLUS reviews it and provides feedback.
• With guidance, the student finalises their personal statement.
• Student submits each application form.
• When offers are through, a Skype call is arranged to provide advice on what should be student’s first and insured choice.
